The National Pupil Premium Grant is a sum of money the school receives for each student who is either in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM) or for children of service personnel.
It was introduced in April 2011 and is allocated to schools to work with pupils who have been registered for Free School Meals(FSM) at any point in the last six years (known as ‘Ever FSM 6’). Schools also receive funding for children who have been looked after continuously more than six months and the children of service personnel.
We are required to publish how much Pupil Premium money we receive and how we have chosen to spend that money.
Our review, stating what we spent in the last academic year and the impact, is published annually, once it has been approved by governors, at the first full governors meeting, at the start of each academic year.
